View this post on Instagram What makes you EPIC? . Our EPIC EVERYDAY Co-founders are excited to give you a little insight into our Who & Why. We are just getting started and vow to make a global impact where representation and cultural visibility are elevated. . WHO? We are Cara and Jenae! ✔️sisters ✔️ wives ✔️moms ✔️proud business owners . #BossMoms born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. We both attended the School for Creative and Performing Arts, and later graduated from Walnut Hills High School. We attended separate HBCUs (Morgan State and NC A&T) undergrad, and PWIs (JMU and UT) for advanced STEM degrees. Biomedical/ Mechanical Engineering and Oncology are our respective fields. Jenae is the mom of 2 young girls and lives abroad. While Cara is the #momofteenboys residing near the EPIC EVERYDAY headquarters in the DMV area. . WHY? Spreading love for the culture and global positivity. Due to the lack of diversity and positive images, we made a conscientious decision in 2017 to design a collection. The Happy Hues collection was created to inspire and spread love for all mocha-hued skin shades, cultural hair styles and textures. We want to change the narrative for younger generations to celebrate self-love and take up space with confidence. We create everything with the hope that children will be empowered, positive, innovative, and creative. We are, "Never ordinary, always EPIC!" .
